STORAGE

Please take care when unpacking your new bag. Open the packaging carefully and avoid ripping or tearing paper or plastic packaging away from the product.

Store your bag in its own protective dust bag where possible. When not in use, keep it lightly stuffed with clean paper or bubble wrap to help it hold its shape, and avoid stacking bags on top of one another.

Keep your bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.

Avoid hanging your bag by its straps for long periods, as this puts pressure on the strap connectors and seams. Avoid folding or pressing your bag.

Our cruelty-free PU leather is soft and designed as an alternative to animal leather — please treat it with the same care.

CLEANING

Wipe the surface gently with a soft, lint-free dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth for light marks, then let it air dry.

Never wash PU leather or fabric bags in water, and never use harsh chemicals, solvents or alcohol-based cleaners, as these can discolour or damage the material.

If your bag gets wet, pat it dry and let it air dry naturally. Do not use a hair-dryer or direct heat, which can damage the material.

Any new-product smell from PU leather fades with time; airing the bag in a well-ventilated space helps it fade faster.

ONE YEAR WARRANTY

If a manufacturing defect arises and a valid claim is received by The House of Ganges within the warranty period, we will, at our option, repair the product or exchange it for a functionally equivalent new product. If your product arrives with a defect, please contact us immediately.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, such as chips, peels or rips in the material, stains caused by outside force, or changes in appearance that do not affect the product’s function.

If a product is exchanged, the replacement becomes your property and the original product becomes the property of The House of Ganges.

Orders placed through our international retail partners are not covered under this warranty.
